Based in London and Toronto, the Flowers Of Hell are a 16 piece trans-Atlantic space rock orchestra. After catching them a number of times in London, Kevin Shields recently had them open for My Bloody Valentine in Canada. Guests and band members on their 2nd album Come Hell Or High Water have played in the Patti Smith Group, Cale’s band, Spiritualized, Spacemen 3, Broken Social Scene, British Sea Power, Bat For Lashes, The Clientele, Guided By Voices, Controller Controller, The Hidden Cameras, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Come Hell Or High Water is their first Canadian release and was recorded in over 40 sessions with 30 musicians in London, Prague, Toronto, Detroit, & Texas. As well as My Bloody Valentine, the Flowers Of Hell have opened for Dean & Britta (Luna/Galaxie 500), Spectrum (Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3), The Clientele, The Black Angels, Asobi Seksu + more.
